Obamacare and Other Stuff

OK, so my last couple of posts has been kind of gloomy even though I try to keep a sense of humor. I find that if I write one like that once in a while it is therapeutic; at least it’s better than running down the street naked screaming at the top of my lungs. That may come, but I’m not quite there yet.

I have always known that there was corruption in government but I never in a million years would have dreamed that it would be so widespread and as open as it is today. Virtually every top administration official is corrupt, including the “president.” When confronted with it they don’t bother to deny it, they just deflect the blame. (What about when Hillary colluded with the Russians. or, it’s Obama’s fault.)

Has anybody really thought about why Republicans are so dead set on repealing Obamacare? I mean why they really want to kill it? Republicans claim it isn’t working, so if it isn’t working why not just fix it? Why all this hullapaloo about repeal and replace? The truth is that although it needs some tweaking here and there, it is working. Thanks to Obamacare 33million people that previously couldn’t afford health insurance now can. Republicans called Obamacare a jobs killer and yet millions of jobs have been created since it went into effect, our economy is good. There are two reasons Republicans hate Obamacare. One is that it taxed the rich but the real and true reason they hate it, (drum roll please) It was signed into law by president Obama and he is black. Republicans are doing all they can to destroy his legacy. After all, how dare an uppity n****r presume to lead the free world. Republicans attempt to replace has failed so now they are just going to try repeal. Of course the repeal won’t go into effect for two years, until after the 2018 mid-terms. We need to keep the pressure up and see that they fail with the repeal too.

Republicans are so afraid of town halls that now they are resorting to conference calls. I got one from Jeff Flake last night, I refused. I presume that the reason for the conference call is so that if you say something they don’t like they can disconnect you.

Worked as a conductor on the Railroad until 1988, worked as a machinist until 2007 and then retired. Earned a creative writing certificate from Rio Salado Community College in 2014. Became concerned when GW Bush was elected, even more, concerned when Republicans began trying to block everything Obama tried to do and now totally p**sed off at what trump and the Republicans are trying to do to our country. I started my own blog in 2009 and now write for The Blue Route.

  1. I’ve been telling everyone who would listen that this is what it’s about and there’s nobody more intent on doing this than trump. He is so consumed with jealousy over President Obama’s success and popularity that he would do anything to destroy his legacy. Can you start a new rallying cry: REVISE, NOT REPEAL!
